Sign a PDF with your own signature

Signing a document usually means printing it, signing it, scanning it back, and emailing a crooked photograph of a page. This tool skips all of that. You draw your signature with a mouse, trackpad, or finger, then click the spot on the page where it belongs.

The part that matters most here is privacy. Documents that need signing are contracts, agreements, and forms — exactly the papers you would least want sitting on someone else's server. Nothing is uploaded: the page preview, the signature, and the finished PDF are all produced on your own machine.

Frequently asked questions

Is this a legally binding signature?

It produces the same kind of drawn signature as printing and signing by hand, which many jurisdictions accept for ordinary agreements. It is not a cryptographic digital signature with a certificate. For documents with strict legal requirements, check what your situation demands.

Can I sign on a phone or tablet?

Yes, and it is often easier — drawing with a finger or stylus gives a more natural signature than a mouse.

Is my signature stored anywhere?

No. It exists only in your browser for the length of the session and is embedded directly into the PDF you download. Nothing is saved or transmitted.

Can I put the signature on more than one page?

One placement per run at the moment. To sign several pages, run the tool again on the file you just downloaded.

Can I resize the signature after placing it?

Yes. Use the size slider, and drag the signature itself to move it. Nothing is written into the PDF until you press download.
