Convert Word to PDF
Most browser-based Word converters take a screenshot of your document and wrap it in a PDF. The result looks right and is useless: you cannot search it, you cannot select a sentence to quote, screen readers cannot read it, and the file is many times larger than it should be.
This converter reads the structure of your document instead — headings, paragraphs, emphasis, lists, tables — and lays it out as genuine PDF text. The honest trade-off runs the other way from the usual one: intricate layouts, columns, and images are simplified into clean flowing text, but what you get is a real text document rather than a photograph of one.
Open Word to PDFRuns in your browser — your files are never uploaded.

Frequently asked questions
Will it look exactly like my Word document?
No, and that is deliberate. Fidelity to layout and fidelity to text are in tension in the browser; this tool chooses text. Headings, bold, italics, lists, and table rows carry over; precise positioning and images do not.
Can I convert several documents at once?
Yes. Select multiple files and each is converted, with all the PDFs delivered in a single ZIP.
Are non-English documents supported?
Latin-alphabet languages convert correctly. Arabic, Chinese, Japanese, Korean, and similar scripts need an embedded font that the built-in PDF fonts do not provide, and the tool will tell you plainly rather than producing broken output.
Does my document get uploaded?
No. The conversion runs entirely in your browser.
