Convert Excel to PDF

Sending a spreadsheet as a PDF makes it readable by anyone, on any device, without them being able to accidentally edit a formula. This converter reads every worksheet in the file and writes each one into the PDF as a titled section of real text.

What it does not do is reproduce Excel's grid: column widths, cell borders, colours, and conditional formatting are not carried over. For data you want people to read and search, that is a fair trade. For a chart-heavy dashboard where the formatting is the message, exporting to PDF from Excel itself will serve you better.

Frequently asked questions

Are the cells laid out as a proper table?

Rows are written out with their cells separated, keeping the data readable and searchable, but the output is flowing text rather than a drawn grid.

Are all worksheets included?

Yes. Every sheet in the workbook becomes its own section, titled with the sheet name.

Do formulas come across?

Their calculated values do, which is what a reader needs. The formulas themselves are not shown.

Can I convert CSV files too?

Yes, CSV files are supported alongside Excel workbooks.
