Reorder the pages of a PDF

This tool rebuilds a PDF using a page order you type out. It is the fastest route when you already know the arrangement you want — reversing a back-to-front scan, for instance, or moving an appendix to the front.

Reverse ranges are supported, so "10-1" flips a ten-page document in one step. If you would rather see the pages while you rearrange them, use the visual page organizer.

How to Reorder Pages

  1. Select the PDF to rearrange.
  2. Type the new order, for example "3, 1, 2" — or "8-1" to reverse an eight-page document.
  3. Press "Reorder pages" to download the rebuilt PDF.

Frequently asked questions

How do I reverse a whole document?

Enter a descending range covering every page, such as "12-1" for a twelve-page PDF.

Can I repeat a page?

Yes. Listing the same page number more than once includes it more than once in the output.

What if I leave a page out?

Any page you do not list is simply not included, so this doubles as an extract-and-reorder tool.

Is there a visual version of this?

Yes — the page organizer shows thumbnails you can drag into position, which is easier for larger rearrangements.
