Extract pages from a PDF

Sometimes you only need four pages out of a sixty-page report. This tool copies the pages you name into a fresh PDF and leaves the rest behind.

Pages are copied without re-encoding, so the extracted document is pixel-identical to those pages in the original. Ranges are flexible: mix individual page numbers and spans in one go.

How to Extract Pages

  1. Select the source PDF.
  2. Type the pages you want, for example "1-3, 7, 12-14".
  3. Press "Extract pages" to download a new PDF containing only those pages.

Frequently asked questions

What format should the page list be in?

Comma-separated numbers and ranges, like "2, 5-8, 11". Spaces are ignored, so write it however reads best.

What happens if I enter a page that does not exist?

The tool tells you the valid range instead of producing a broken file. Nothing is downloaded until the list is valid.

Can I extract pages in a different order?

Extraction keeps them in the order you type. If you want a genuinely custom arrangement with previews, use the page organizer.

Is the quality the same as the original?

Yes. Pages are copied directly, so fonts, images, and text are untouched.
